GFL Environmental in Baytown, TX is hiring an Operator to load, secure, and transport cargo safely while following all safety and transportation regulations. You will perform routine inspections and maintain logs, ensuring compliance and quality on every shift.

You’ll operate multiple trucks, assist teammates, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining clean and safe work areas. This role requires physical stamina and flexible availability including weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work indoors and outdoors.
• Demonstrated experience operating heavy vacuum and hydro excavation trucks.

Responsabilités

• Safely load, secure, and transport cargo in compliance with safety regs.
• Conduct pre-, en-, and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Complete logs, manifests, and bills of lading.
• Maneuver trucks for loading/unloading and report defects.
• Provide courteous customer service and keep work areas safe.

What you'll do:

• Safely load, secure, and transport cargo in compliance with all safety and transportation regulations.
• Conduct pre-, en-, and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Complete and maintain required logs, manifests, and bills of lading.
• Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service and ensure work areas remain clean and safe.
• Train others and perform additional duties as assigned.

What's required:

• High School diploma minimum.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement.
• Demonstrated experience operating: 70 Barrel Vacuum Truck, Super Sucker/Airmover Truck, Hydro Excavation Truck
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.
• Availability for overtime, weekend work, and an on-call schedule.
