Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in USA - Inwood, WV is seeking a Yard Driver with a Class A CDL for a 12-hour night shift. You will perform yard and trailer movements, dock operations, and general warehouse duties while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires CDL experience and reliable attendance. The position offers night differentials and weekend premiums, with a 5:00pm–5:00am schedule and a strong emphasis on teamwork and compliance with DMV/DOL rules.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with 2 years, verifiable, tractor-trailer experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding; operate hand trucks and fork lifts; and perform tasks in inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of the yard truck.
• Maintains radio or telephone contact.
• Moves trailers in and out of the docks in a timely manner.
• Maintain the yard tractor and warehouse in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety.
• Interact with warehouse team members to maximize output and efficiency.
• Inspect truck and trailer equipment for road worthiness and notify supervisor of repairs.
• Load trucks as needed.
• Use RF Computer System for Trailer Inventory Control.
• Perform all functions of a Warehouse Associate.
