Job summary

Midwest Lumber & Supply II in Harrisonville, MO, is seeking a Millwork Driver contributing to safe and timely delivery of millwork products across the region. You will serve as a company representative, ensuring careful handling, proper loading, and courteous service during deliveries.

This full-time role requires a valid CDL Class E, a clean driving record, the ability to lift 75 lbs+, and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (Minimum Class E) appropriate for the vehicle class operated.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy millwork materials safely. Frequently 75 lbs and up.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver millwork products to residential and commercial customers within assigned routes.
• Load and unload millwork materials carefully to prevent damage, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Verify delivery orders and obtain customer signatures to confirm receipt of products.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing questions or concerns during deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and product availability.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while operating vehicles.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
