Job summary

Amarr is hiring a CDL Truck Driver for the Milk Run route in Lawrence, KS. The role entails loading, unloading, and delivering door panels with safety adherence to DOT rules. Expect at least two overnight stays per week and involvement in warehousing tasks and inventory control.

Requires a valid Class A CDL, 3–5+ years of driving, and an excellent safety record. Back-up driving for Kansas facilities may be required; strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and meet the minimum DOT age requirement of 21 years old.
• Three (3) to five (5) + years of driving experience.
• Clear and effective written and oral communication in the English language.
• Superb driving record to include: No more than two tickets for moving violations or driving without proof of insurance in the past twelve months; No more than four in the past three years; No DWI/DUI in the last five years.
• No careless or reckless driving resulting in an accident in past five years.
• Ability to operate power tools and be mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely, following all DOT regulations for extended periods.
• Loads/unloads, prepares, inspects and operates a delivery vehicle (touch freight).
• Maintain Federal and State required logs and inventory accuracy.
• Provide customer assistance and ensure timely deliveries.
• Back-up driver duties for Kansas manufacturing facilities.
