Job summary

SAGE Truck Driving School is seeking a CDL driving instructor to train the next generation of truck drivers in Casper, WY. No teaching experience required as training will be provided, with a focus on safety and curriculum delivery.

You will guide students on maneuvers, assess performance, and uphold high professional standards while working nights and weekends as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requirements: Valid Class A CDL License.
• Two years of practical trucking experience showing instructional competency.
• A safe CDL A driving record as determined by the SAGE Safety Department.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of safe truck driving and regulations for interstate operations.
• Attitude: professionalism, respect, motivation, maturity, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Communicate instructions to students and assess their performance.
• Provide guidance on maneuvers on a skills driving range and in the truck on roads.
