Job summary

SAGE - Durham, NC is seeking a CDL Driving Instructor to train students using our established curriculum. Valid Class A CDL and at least two years of trucking experience are required. No teaching experience is necessary to join.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum two years of practical trucking experience showing instructional competency.
• Clean driving record as determined by the Safety Dept.
• Ability to demonstrate curriculum subjects to students.
• Attitude focused on performance, safety, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students on truck maneuvers on range and roads.
• Assess student performance and provide guidance.
• Deliver lessons across 4–12 hour shifts as needed.
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and the SAGE curriculum.
