Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a skilled CDL Highway Maintenance Technician to conduct Highway Maintenance Services and related tasks under close supervision. We train in Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with at least 5 years of clean driving.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work nights and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
