Job summary

Southeastern Trench Safety is hiring a CDL driver to haul and deliver shoring and shielding equipment locally and regionally. You will inspect vehicles, secure loads, and provide courteous service at the point of delivery.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, current medical certification, and a clean driving record. The role involves on-site work across construction sites and yards with safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and current medical certification.
• 2+ years tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Physically fit and able to operate large vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and securing equipment for transport.
• Local and regional hauling of equipment.
• Perform daily commercial vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Obtain required signatures on rental contracts, pickups, and exchange forms.
• Demonstrate safe and proper equipment usage at point of delivery.
• Complete reports for outgoing and returned equipment.
• Complete logbooks and trip sheets in accordance with D.O.T. and company record-keeping requirements.
• Assist in the warehouse and yard when not driving.
