Job summary

Certarus Ltd. seeks safety-minded truck drivers to transport compressed natural gas to customer sites from Certarus Hubs. The role reports to the Operations Manager and offers a home-nightly schedule, modern equipment, and a strong safety culture.

We provide a set shift with local driving, occasional travel to other hubs, $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a 7% 401(k) match along with health benefits, PTO, and quarterly safety bonuses for top performers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (H) and Tank (N), or X endorsement.
• Minimum two years verifiable Class A trucking experience; oilfield hauling preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks, Fit-for-Duty, and D&A screens; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport CNG from hub to customer sites.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely at customer locations.
• Remove and transport empty trailers between sites and hubs.
• Hook up and decouple hoses to compression stations and PR systems.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Our Truck Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) from Certarus Hubs in the Location area to customer’s locations. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager. Certarus provides new, well maintained tractor trailers, an opportunity to be home each night, and an employee-focused culture. Schedule:

• This position provides a set shift schedule with local driving that allows you to be home at the end of each shift with scheduled days off
• 5 shifts on, 2 days off work rotation or 5 shifts on, 3 days off work rotation
• Night shifts required
• Willing to travel to other hubs as required
• $5,000 sign-on bonus

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safe transport of Compressed Natural Gas from hub compression stations to customer sites
• Safe operation of tractor & trailer to/from off road customer locations
• Removal and transportation of empty CNG trailers from customer sites to Hub locations
• Hook-up and decoupling of hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reduction systems
• Pre/Post trip checks of operating vehicles
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with Hazmat (H) and Tank (N), or X endorsement
• Minimum Two (2)-years’ verifiable Class A trucking experience, military experience can apply
• Preference will be given to drivers with prior oilfield hauling experience
• Two (2) years’ Experience transporting HAZMAT is an asset
• Must be a safety minded, a self-starter, and a team player
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record(s) (MVR & PSP) with no suspensions
• Candidates must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check, Fit-for-Duty, and D&A screen to be considered for employment
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English
