Job summary

Arc3 Gases is seeking a Route Sales Representative in Lynchburg, VA. You will build strong customer relationships by delivering hard goods and gas cylinders on a scheduled route, while collecting empties and ensuring timely deliveries.

The role is physical and time-sensitive, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Ideal candidates have CDL HazMat, gas industry knowledge, and a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• Experience with compressed gases preferred.
• Customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must meet DOT driver qualifications.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs, occasionally 76+ lbs.
• Outdoor work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform climbing, bending, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, deliver, and unload hard goods and cylinders; retrieve empties.
• Maintain load manifests and vehicle documentation.
• Identify customer needs and monitor inventory levels to minimize emergency deliveries.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Comply with safety rules, DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain valid driver licenses and endorsements.
• Keep truck interior/exterior clean and safe.
• Assist customers in-store with counter sales when needed.
• Perform warehouse duties: receiving, shipping, paperwork.
• Fill cylinders in the pump room; assist with inventory and showroom displays.
• Support with additional duties as needed.
