Job summary

Airgas in Peoria is seeking a delivery driver with Class A CDL and Hazmat endorsement to transport compressed and liquid gases and related products on scheduled routes. You will load and unload cylinders, verify weights, collect signatures, and maintain DOT compliance.

The role requires safe driving and adherence to safety rules, with forklift handling as needed, and collaboration with dispatch and customers to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year Class A CDL with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements and a clean driving record.
• At least one year of experience operating a tractor‑trailer combination.
• Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compressed and liquefied gases on scheduled routes, loading and unloading as required.
• Record deliveries and pickups with signatures and load manifests.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and maintain safe driving records.
