Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc seeks a CDL Driver to operate a company vehicle and deliver goods across designated routes. You will follow safety protocols, secure cargo, and maintain accurate records while upholding customer relations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class-A CDL required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a current DOT physical card.
• High school diploma or GED; or
• 3+ years or more experience and /or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles (CDL required) to transport and deliver goods per DOT standards.
• Secure loads safely and verify weight within limits.
• Prepare receipts and verify freight; may collect payments.
• Maintain contact with manager for delivery instructions.
• Inspect vehicle equipment; report defects and perform emergency repairs.
• Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Interact with customers and maintain positive relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
