Job summary

Sunoco is seeking a CDL Transport Fuel Driver to load and transport bulk oil and fuel to customers. The role requires a Class A license with tanker/Hazmat endorsements preferred and a current DOT Medical Card.

You will operate tanker configurations, complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and ensure timely, compliant deliveries while upholding safety standards. Competitive weekly pay with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) match, and generous PTO and holiday time

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred (not required to apply, but required at time of hire).
• Current DOT Medical Card required at time of hire.
• Clean driving record is essential for this role.
• TWIC is preferred but not required.
• Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports and delivers tanker, bulk, semi & van loads in a professional, safe, efficient, and lawful manner.
• Hooks/unhooks trailers and operates pumps/valves to fill tanks with hoses and fittings.
• Ensures all products and tools are secured using approved methods.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports any defects.
• Maintains trucks and equipment and reports issues promptly.
• Provides excellent customer service and ensures timely, accurate deliveries; communicates with supervisor.
• Represents the company professionally to customers and the public.
• Coordinates with management, dispatchers, customers, and teammates to fulfill orders.
