Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL driver to operate waste & recycling trucks on assigned routes, ensuring safe pickup and professional service across commercial customers. You will follow routes, complete inspections, and maintain equipment and records.

Ideal candidates have a Class B CDL, ability to read maps, and strong communication skills. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Ohio-based driving with opportunities to travel between offices.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand maps or navigation systems.
• Must have valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Good written and verbal communication with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to remove trash or recycling on assigned routes.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIR logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Service 100–150 commercial customers per day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
