Job summary

SLB FREIGHTAGE INC. is seeking an experienced CDL Flatbed Driver in Sanford, NC to join our logistics team. The role focuses on safe, timely deliveries with training available for Moffett equipment.

You will transport goods, conduct inspections, follow DOT regulations, and document progress using onboard systems. A valid CDL is required and long hours are expected with regular travel.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license (flatbed) is required.
• Proven experience as CDL truck driver (flatbed).
• Moffett experience preferred; training available.
• Familiarity with GPS, AVL units, and ELDs.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport finished goods and raw materials to and from plants, stores, and distribution centers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Plan efficient routes and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Use onboard systems to document delivery progress.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies.
• Operate Moffett equipment for loading/unloading (training provided).
• Verify delivery instructions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
