Job summary

Cowtown Materials, Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently, delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The role requires a CDL (Class A strongly preferred), a clean MVR, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Candidates should be able to lift heavy materials and work both independently and as part of a team. Full-time with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation and load/unload materials as directed.
• Maintain records as required by state and federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment; lift heavy materials up to 80–100+ lbs per job requirements.
