This position involves the safe delivery of goods using a flatbed truck and requires excellent driving skills and commitment to customer service. Key responsibilities include operating the truck, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring cargo is secured. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and knowledge of load securement techniques.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Clean driving record is necessary.
• DOT compliant, medical card needed.
• 1+ year of experience driving flatbed trucks preferred.
• Experience operating a Moffett forklift is essential.
• Knowledge of load securement techniques necessary.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and adapt to weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods using a flatbed truck.
• Operate Moffett forklift for loading/unloading freight.
• Secure cargo as per DOT regulations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to all safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report issues.
