Overview
At Driving Academy, our mission is to help students get on the "Road to Freedom" by earning their Commercial Driver's License (CDL). As a CDL Examiner, you play a critical role in this journey. You will oversee official licensing exams, ensuring that prospective commercial drivers meet all state and federal safety standards before hitting the road.
If you are an experienced CDL driver who values integrity, safety, and clear communication, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the next generation of safe drivers while working with a supportive, growth-focused team.

- Evaluate candidate performance objectively against state and federal scoring criteria.
- Record and upload exam results into the required national and state testing databases promptly and accurately.
- Prepare the testing yard and facility for daily operations and secure the site at the close of business.
- Guide candidates through testing procedures clearly and de-escalate stressful situations using strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Over Time:
- Maintain full compliance with evolving state and federal commercial driving regulations.
- Participate in required ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Work closely with the test coordinator and lead examiner to maintain seamless testing operations and consistent standards.
