Job summary

Bruce Building Group is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver in Pigeon Forge, TN to transport materials and heavy equipment to construction sites. A CDL license is required for this role.

The position includes pre-trip inspections, accurate logkeeping, and coordination with site managers to ensure safe, on-time deliveries on rugged terrain. This is a full-time, in-person role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL - Class B required; Class A preferred.
• MVR meeting company and DOT standards.
• Ability to pass drug screening.
• Proficient in dump truck driving (manual transmission).
• Experience with heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with site managers.
• Lifting of 50lbs minimum.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, block, mortar and asphalt in mountainous terrain
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including a bobcat, skid steer and/or excavator
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and vehicle maintenance records
• Review delivery ticket pre-haul instructions and perform accurately
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
