Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking aDump Truck Driver for our local operations. The role involves pre-trip inspections, loading and transporting materials to job sites, and strict safety compliance with DOT and company rules.

Candidates must have a Florida CDL (Class A or B, tanker endorsement preferred), a current medical card, and at least 2 years of verifiable experience. Drug testing and background checks are performed. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable work experience.
• Must have a valid Florida CDL Driver's license - Class A or B (tanker endorsement preferred).
• Must have familiarity with FMCSR.
• Must have a current medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections.
• Report problems or malfunctions.
• Drive to asphalt plant to pick up materials to be delivered to the job site.
• Load and transport material to the assigned destination in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with all company, DOT, Federal, State, and local safety regulations.
• Complete a trip ticket for each move, keep receipt of materials hauled, and turn in tickets promptly.
• Complete all required paperwork and turn it in as required.
• Able to perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Will assist crew as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
