Job summary

Puma Staffing Group is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport freight safely and on schedule. You will adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies while delivering locally, regionally, or long-haul routes as assigned.

This full-time role offers home time on a local or regional basis, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a safety‑minded trucking team. All endorsements and licenses must be current.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test and background check.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT rules.
• Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, or binders as applicable.
• Maintain electronic logging devices (ELD) to track hours of service accurately.
• Report any mechanical defects, traffic delays, or incidents to dispatch immediately.
