CDL license required; on day one you join the union and receive your Driver Pay rate, though the job involves substantial warehouse work, including time in the cooler and freezer for the initial months while you move up the seniority list.

Driving routes and overtime are determined by seniority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience or training.
• Ability to operate handheld computer and Microsoft applications.
• Experience driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and the greater Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities

• Drive Food Bank vehicles to pick-ups and deliveries to agencies and affiliates.
• Load and unload trucks; process trip sheets and logs.
• Maintain clean driving record and up‑to‑date CDL.
• Read pick lists, fill orders, and verify accuracy.
• Warehouse tasks including cooler/freezer work and inventory upkeep.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain records.
