Job summary

Alside, part of Associated Materials, LLC, is hiring for a warehouse/delivery role. Local deliveries to residential and commercial sites require a CDL and experience with building products. You will operate forklifts, assist in daily warehouse tasks, and ensure on-time deliveries in a safety-focused environment.

The pay rate is $26 per hour with equal opportunity employment. Strong bilingual candidates will receive strong consideration as part of a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and read safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, and warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations with PPE.
• Load and unload trucks and maintain delivery logs.
• Follow safety policies, DOT regulations, and load securement.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time delivery.
• Ensure accurate inventory by receiving and pulling products.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

Physical Requirements

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently
