Job summary

Dot Transportation, Inc. in Manchester, TN is seeking drivers who love the open road. You will train for your Class A CDL at approved schools or in‑house programs, with tuition covered. Once licensed, you will join a best‑in‑class driver team.

The role includes operating equipment safely, complying with FMCSA rules, loading/unloading where applicable, and meeting MPG and fuel goals. DTI offers a competitive package, advancement opportunities, and paid vacation after 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL permit required.
• Ability to pass Class A CDL test within three attempts.
• Ability to obtain Haz‑Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training).
• Ability to pass our PAT (Physical Ability Test).
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate DTI equipment to transport product.
• Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation (FMCSA) and governing bodies.
• For all jobs except no‑touch freight, load and unload dry and temperature‑controlled goods.
• Meet company goals including MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed.
• Read and understand DTI load paperwork and product descriptions.
• Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
