Good Guys Tree Service in Austin, TX is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport equipment, materials, and debris to job sites while complying with DOT regulations. You will work with tree crews, assist with loading and unloading, and perform pre-trip inspections.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in tree services, construction, or landscaping.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., chipper trucks, dump trucks) is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including dump trucks, log trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
• Transport tree debris, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
• Assist tree crews with loading and unloading equipment as needed.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain logs and records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies on job sites and roadways.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to coordinate needs.
