Job summary

The program operates from our Corbin Shuttle Point and supports drivers as part of a long-standing team delivering fine foods since 1942. During training, individuals develop driving skills and learn regulatory knowledge necessary for safe, compliant deliveries and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must learn and adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer and perform product deliveries along assigned routes and related duties.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws related to DOT and traffic regulations.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
• Communicate problems to the Senior Transportation Supervisor by phone.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip.
• Drive to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering the vehicle.
• Maintain electronic driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Keep supervisor updated with delivery or pickup instructions.
• Follow transportation, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Ensure professional appearance and conduct; meet training requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure transportation efficiency.
