Job summary

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC division, seeks a CDL Class A or B Driver who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and can deliver exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees.

Responsibilities include operating vacuum trucks, performing pre/post trip inspections, loading/unloading, and complying with all safety policies while transporting hazardous materials when qualified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• Hazmat is preferred, but not required.
• 2-3 years’ experience driving DOT regulated vehicles is required.
• Experience driving Hazmat materials strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks by controlling hoses and equipment as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and comply with traffic laws and company policies.
• Drive in accordance with safety policies and regulations.
• Complete DOT pre- and post-trip inspections and paperwork as needed.
• Load/unload and set up vacuum hoses at job sites.
• Report accidents and injuries and file accident reports when necessary.
• Ensure loads are secured prior to driving and maintain safety while operating a vehicle.
• Follow dispatch or supervisor instructions daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
