Job summary

Lehman Pipe and Plumbing Supply LLC is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to join our Orlando team. This full-time role involves transporting goods across various locations, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining safety and customer service standards.

You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, log hours with ELDs, and coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules. A valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record is required, with 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to established procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and deliveries using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards while on the road.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management.
