Job summary

Titan America is hiring for a CDL - Ready Mix Driver at our Wilmington, NC facility. We offer competitive wages and benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation and holidays. The role requires a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and a customer-service oriented mindset.

You will operate a ready-mix truck and support plant operations as needed. Open interviews are scheduled for September 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 2209 Monroe St., Wilmington, NC 28401.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Professional and courteous attitude toward coworkers and customers.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and perform required inspections.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.
• Ability to pass pre-employment processes including background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and MVRO.
• Must wear and use required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the truck in accordance with regulations.
• Load and deliver perishable product to customers with quality service.
• Maintain truck safety and assist with plant maintenance as needed.
• Complete required pre/post trip inspections and paperwork.
• Receive loads, evaluate slump, and drive to job site; attach chutes and clean truck.
• Maintain cleanliness of inside and outside of the truck.
• Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and the public.

Job Description:

S&W Ready Mix is expanding operations and seeking a CDL - Ready Mix Driver forour Wilmington, NC facility. S&W Ready Mix/Titan America, LLC offers excellent wages and benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401k savings plan, paid vacation, and holidays. Drivers should be flexible, patient, trustworthy, customer service driven, and adaptable to changing environments and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and company regulations.
• Efficiently load and deliver perishable product to customer striving to provide quality and good customer service.
• Follow procedures to ensure truck is safe to operate. When not performing driving duties assist with plant maintenance, cleanup and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete required pre and post trip inspections reporting necessary maintenance as required.
• Operate truck to receive load, evaluate slump and drive to job site. Safely maneuver truck on job site, attach chutes to discharge material, clean truck to minimize concrete buildup.
• Complete all forms, tickets and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Keep inside and outside of truck clean.
• Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide good customer service.
• Communicate with customers, co-workers, and general public professionally and respectfully.
• Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.
• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to operate equipment, tools and controls, perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists and feet, frequent reaching, climbing (up and down the truck several times a day), stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting and lifting (upto 50 lbs.).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.
• Ability to pass pre-employment processes including criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to wear and use required Personal Protective Equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
