Baptist Senior Family is hiring a CDL Driver to safely transport residents and goods in our Scott Township campus. You will coordinate with the transportation team, assist residents in and out of vehicles, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role offers PRN coverage with flexible scheduling, competitive pay based on experience, and perks like wellness extras and convenient parking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• PA CDL Driver’s License with a good driving record is required.
• One year of related driving experience or equivalent is required.

Responsabilités

• Plan routes and coordinate with transportation coordinator.
• Pick up or drop off residents at designated locations in a timely manner.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and with door-to-door drop off or pick up as necessary.
• Utilize resident lift on bus as necessary and secure wheelchairs or packages as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep passengers informed of delays.

Pay Rate:

$19 - $21 per hour

Work Schedule:

PRN: Position is scheduled on an as-needed basis to provide support during call-offs, vacations, and other coverage needs. Hours are not guaranteed, scheduling is flexible and based on availability and facility needs

What You’ll Do:

• Plans routes and coordinates and maintains open communication with transportation coordinator.
• Adheres to time schedules. Picks up or drops off residents at designated locations in a timely manner.
• Assists residents in and out of vehicles and with door to door drop off or pick up as necessary. Utilizes resident lift on bus as necessary.
• Assists with the loading and unloading of packages as necessary. Secures wheelchairs or packages as necessary.
• Exhibits excellence customer service; is courteous and professional with residents. Keeps passengers informed of possible delays.
• Safely operate a variety of company vehicles, including sedans, wheelchair-accessible vans, and passenger buses, to transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and other scheduled destinations.
• Obeys traffic laws and local, state and federal transit regulations. Follows procedures to ensure passenger safety.
• Refuels vehicle as needed. Keeps vehicle clean, e.g., vacuums/cleans inside regularly and schedules/maintains car washes.
• Performs daily visual inspection of vehicle and reports needed maintenance items on a timely basis. Properly completes incident or accident reports when necessary. Maintains logs or other records as requested.
• Participates in the QAPI Program as needed. Makes recommendations as needed if areas of improvement in transportation are needed.

Requirements

Qualifications You Bring:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one-year related driving experience or combined education/training and experience.
• Valid PA CDL Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Experience presenting information in one-on—one situation to a resident, resident representative or staff member. Listening skills include being able to follow directions and interpret concerns.
