The role involves moving goods with 26 ft box trucks, loading/unloading with a floorwalker, and basic equipment maintenance. Part-time, 25 hours per week, 10am–3pm, Monday to Friday, with training for CDL and floorwalker certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year in a manufacturing environment with ability to read plans.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• CDL and floorwalker certification will be trained and certified.
• Ability to operate gas-powered material handling equipment and trucks.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dependable CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will safely load, transport, and unload materials between our plant locations. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, reliable professional who takes pride in working efficiently and supporting the needs of the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Responsible for moving both raw and finished goods between plant assignments by using 26 foot box trucks to accommodate plant needs.
• Loading and unloading of trucks delivering parts to our plants with a floorwalker
• Perform routine maintenance for excessive wear and/or damage of operating equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

WORKING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

• Predominantly operates in a shop floor or warehouse environment. Position requires walking frequently through shift on concrete in production areas. May be exposed to moderate heat, light dust, fumes, cold temperatures, and noise. Adequate hearing, eye, and footwear protection is required in production areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• This position does not have any supervisory duties.

SCHEDULE

• Part-time at 25 hours per week
• 5-hour Day Shift from 10am to 3pm Monday through Friday

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• One year in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend plans.
• Proficient in the operation of gas-powered material moving equipment and trucks.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Required to be certified to operate material moving equipment; also, parts truck driver, will be required to have a CDL
• Completion of floorwalker certification We will train and certify.
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques with emphasis on Standardized Work, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and JIT principles
• Ability to work overtime as needed both daily and weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to pass a physical examination to confirm ability to perform the job. This position includes extensive walking, regularly stooping, bending, or kneeling, and lifting, carrying, or manipulating objects up to 50 pounds. This position requires repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to perform daily responsibilities. Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment while working.
