This position will be located at the Portland, Mainelocation.
Followappropriate safetyprocedures while driving trucks to destination ofBallardlocation or customer locations
Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Willingness to travel as necessary,workthe required schedule, work at the specific location required.This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation ordesignatedas safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner isrequired. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
2 years of driving experiencerequired
2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle recordrequired; DOT Medical Certification required
CDL Class B licenserequired
CDL Class A license preferred
Abilityto read and follow written instructions isrequired.
