Job summary

Lippert is seeking a dedicated driver to transport finished chassis to customers, ensuring safety and compliance with all procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to delivery routes, with opportunities for growth across production areas.

Local travel is expected on a full-time basis in Goshen, Indiana. The position requires the ability to lift heavy items, operate a lift truck, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency while meeting delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, and measurements.
• Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
• Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary.
• Lift Truck Operators License preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and policies.
• Perform final inspection of finished chassis and repair minor defects.
• Prepare finished chassis for transportation with stabilization and safety procedures.
• Deliver finished chassis to customer per approved routes and areas.
• Unload finished chassis at destination per procedures.
• Coordinate necessary paperwork at departure, delivery, and return.
• Handle miscellaneous deliveries as assigned.
• Rotate to other production positions as needed.
• Assist in repair work as necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
