Job summary

US LBM, including Arrow Building Center, Lampert Lumber and Lyman Lumber, is seeking a Union CDL Driver II to deliver materials to job sites, inspect and maintain the truck, and assist in loading and unloading. The role requires a current Class A or B CDL, DOT qualifications, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include organizing loads, recording deliveries, adhering to DOT guidelines, and maintaining safety and attendance standards in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months CDL experience including lumber dumping; basic CDL with flat beds/tractor-trailers.
  • Strong arithmetic, ability to read orders and write instructions; clear verbal and written communication.
  • Clean driving record, current CDL, and valid DOT qualifications.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly; working in varied climates.
  • Teamsters Local 120 membership requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver materials to job sites and unload as required.
  • Inspect and maintain the truck; organize and secure loads for safe delivery.
  • Assist forklift operators during loading and unloading.
  • Report shortages and delivery issues to supervisor and maintain accurate logs.
  • Follow DOT regulations and company attendance policies; ensure yard/warehouse housekeeping.
