Job summary

RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking a dedicated Driver for our Grand Prairie, TX distribution operations. A valid Class A CDL and a minimum of 3 years driving experience are required, along with passing DOT drug testing and maintaining a Federal Medical Card.

A clean driving record and strong customer service are essential. You will inspect your truck, verify deliveries, handle touch-freight with a pallet jack, collect payments, log driving records, and uphold safety policies while representing the

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Meet DOT requirements, including pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
• Current Federal Medical Card.
• Understand road hazards and follow safety practices.
• Previous delivery experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Provide excellent customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Inspect your truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs).
• Verify deliveries with customers to ensure quantities and products match ship tickets.
• Handle touch-freight deliveries using a manual pallet jack for designated accounts.
• Collect payments for goods delivered per ship ticket instructions.
• Keep accurate driver logs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Operate vehicle safely following DOT guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle representing the company.
• Keep CDL current and driving record clean per DOT and company standards.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive, professional team culture.
