Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A or B Driver in Gainesville, VA to deliver products to customer jobsites and support warehouse operations. You’ll follow DOT safety regulations, manage paperwork, and may operate a forklift for unloading at sites.

A valid CDL and state license are required, with two years of driving experience preferred. We offer attractive shifts, comprehensive benefits, and a strong emphasis on safety and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and a valid state CDL license.
• Current Class A or B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations and maintains safety standards.
• Ensures manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders.
• Performs other duties as needed.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
