Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Austin Hills, TX. The role offers weekly pay, benefits after a short period, and a driving career you can feel good about.

The driver will operate a Day Cab/ Dry Van on a local route with home daily opportunities and a 6:00 pm start time. This position requires a Class A CDL with endorsements, minimum 21 years old, and successful completion of Ryder’s drug and background checks, plus a DOT physical and road test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Provide a Class A CDL with endorsements as required.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, background check, and motor vehicle check.
• DOT physical required and Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist as needed for customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
