Job summary

University Retirement Community in Davis, CA is seeking a Driver Lead – CDL to provide safe transportation for residents and lead the Transportation team with training and quality oversight.

The role requires a CDL, DOT medical certificate, and at least 2 years of driving experience. You will supervise, schedule, and maintain vehicles while upholding safety standards and excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving cars and/or buses.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical certificate required.
• CDL Class A, B, or C and DOT medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for residents to appointments, errands, and events.
• Lead team through training and day-to-day support.
• Assist with scheduling, quality control, and supplies.
• Safely operate buses and assist residents with mobility devices.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure safety compliance.
