Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver who can operate straight trucks, flat beds, low boy, and tool trucks, with a Class A or B CDL. The role includes substantial labor duties, requiring lifting up to 75 lbs and strong physical endurance.

Travel is across Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, with overtime and rain make-up days possible. Candidates must be 21+, have a clean driving record, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL class A or B trucks when required and perform laborer duties.
• Haul equipment between work sites and transport materials.
• Assist with unloading/loading, traffic control, and other physically demanding tasks.
• Travel throughout Western PA, Ohio, and West Virginia; overtime and rain make-up days may be required.

Job Responsibilities

A CDL Driver must have a class "A" or "B" CDL license. A CDL Driver may operate straight trucks, flat beds, low boy, tool truck, and other commercial motor vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.

Key Tasks

• Drivers may haul equipment between work sites and transport work materials.
• Prior driving experience is a definite plus.
• Drivers will also be required to participate with laborer duties. Individuals must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. consistently throughout the work day.
• Laborer duties are physically demanding and may include unloading & loading materials; traffic control duties, etc. (Note: Driving duties are only a minor portion of the job-majority of the job is labor related duties)
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to apply, must have a good driving record and be able to pass a pre employment drug screen.

Work Schedule

Work schedule varies. Candidate must be available for Over-time and rain make-up days. Ability to stay out of town overnight is required.

Rate of Pay

Depends on skill & experience. We pay weekly. Excellent Benefits Packages.

Work Area

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL - Work will require travel throughout Western PA, OH, AND WV.
