Job summary

DGM Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver Level I to ensure safe, timely, and accurate pickup and delivery of cargo. You will perform DOT-compliant inspections, secure loads, and handle required documentation with a focus on customer service and reliability.

Responsibilities include governing pre-trip and post-trip checks, complying with FMCSR/OSHA, and maintaining professional communication with dispatch and customers while supporting daily logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of professional driving experience.
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
• Hazmat Endorsement required.
• Knowledge of DOT FMCSR OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Experience completing DOT logbooks (ELD) and trip documentation.
• Ability to read and complete shipping documents accurately.

Responsibilities

• Review dispatch notifications and assignments to determine pickups and deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip inspections per DOT regulations and verify equipment.
• Ensure proper cargo securing and loss prevention during transit.
• Complete required delivery paperwork, logs, and documentation on time.
• Communicate delays or issues to dispatch promptly.
• Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
