Job summary

KI Lumber & Building Materials, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, seeks a CDL driver to operate safely, deliver and unload building materials to customers across Kentucky and neighboring states. A Class A or B CDL and clean driving record are required, with experience preferred in flatbeds and tractor trailers.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable customer service, including daily equipment inspections, DOT log preparation, and adherence to company policies and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL experience preferred.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
• 1-3 years CDL experience required for interstate commerce.
• Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
• Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems.
• Maintain current operator's license and meet company driver qualification requirements.
• Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
• Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, GPS and other necessary business applications).

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company policies and guidelines.
• Operate truck mounted forklift safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck.
• Participate in and complete assigned trainings.

What you will do

• Operate safely.
