Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class B commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Safely load, secure, and unload household goods and possessions onto the truck and in a customer’s home, ensuring proper handling and care.
• Plan and execute routes efficiently to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, and other required documentation.
• Ability to travel with an overnight stay.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
• Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize route planning and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods or equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and trailer, promoting a professional image.
• Perform any and all duties as assigned.
