Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is hiring a reliable CDL-B Driver to join our team in Richmond, VA. You will deliver finished goods to customer shops or job sites, load and secure shipments, and maintain DOT compliance. Nights, weekends or early mornings may be required to meet schedules.

Responsibilities include operating piggyback forklift, completing daily truck inspections and logs, obtaining signatures, and supporting warehouse operations as directed by management.

Qualifications

• CDL-B license with equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck).
• Minimum 6 months in a driving position.
• Experience mounting/unmounting piggyback units safely.
• Basic keypad/keyboard skills; arithmetic with whole numbers and decimals.
• RF technology experience helpful in barcoding environment.
• 1 year multitasking under time constraints.

Responsibilities

DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver - CDL to join our team! This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying a schedule that allows you to be home every night.Position may involve loading, securing and driving Company vehicles in accordance with all licensing and DOT regulations. Deliver finished goods for customer's installation process at jobsite or their shop.RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows maps or written directions to deliver to customer's shop or jobsiteUses good judgment in assessing jobsite conditions and safe unloadingObtains valid signature on all delivery documentsSafely mount, dismount, secure, and operate piggyback (truck-mounted) forklifts for loading and unloading.Completes daily required truck inspectionCompletes driver logs as needed.Follows all DOT and licensing requirements as neededMust be flexible and available for nights, weekends or early morning deliveriesLift boxes of material to stage in desired containers for shipment.Operates available equipment to ready crates and boxes for loading process.Uses available equipment to load and unload pipe and material from flat bed and box type trailers.Follows all company policies and procedures.Handles additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the warehouse lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager.QualificationsQualifications:Has a CDL-B license, as well as equipment certifications (crane, industrial truck)Minimum of 6 months in a previous driving position.Proven ability to mount/unmount and secure piggyback units safely.Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills.Prior experience with RF technology used in bar coding environment helpful.1 year working in a multitask environment while under time constraints.Basic arithmetic skills required using whole numbers and decimals.Moffet/Piggyback Forklift Experience
