Job summary

Alter Trading Corporation in Harrison, AR is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to join our scrap metal operations. You will operate tractors and trailers to move containers between Alter facilities and customer sites, and support yard activities as needed.

Home daily with safety-first culture. Qualified candidates have a valid Class A CDL, 1-3 years of driving experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100+ with assistance), and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 1-3 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs independently and 100+ lbs with assistance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to pick up and deliver containers within a designated area.
• Transport loads between Alter facilities and customer locations.
• Drive semi-trucks within the yard to move scrap materials.
• Operate yard equipment to load or relocate scrap as needed.
• Wear PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
