Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co Inc is seeking a dependable CDL Driver in Charleston, SC. The position requires a Class A CDL, 21+ years of age, a clean driving record, and 6 months to 1 year of DOT driving experience. The role involves operating manual transmission trucks and delivering freight to multiple locations.

We emphasize work-life balance, with no long hauls or overnight stays. Pre-employment drug screening is required and forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL and be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record with 6 months to 1 year DOT driving experience.
• Able to operate a manual transmission truck.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Must pass all DOT and insurance regulations and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and work procedures.
• Drive 24' straight trucks and tractor-trailers to transport materials.
• Prepare receipts for loads and maintain truck logs per regulations.
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Secure cargo with rope or blocks during transit.
• Load/unload as needed and inspect truck equipment.
• Maintain work area and perform other duties as required.
