Job summary

Friendship Village of Dublin is seeking a dedicated driver to enhance the lives of residents through exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for vehicle safety inspections, maintenance, and ensuring safe transport. A valid CDL and experience driving commercial buses are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the lives of our residents by providing 5-star customer service.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure operating safely and within legal guidelines weekly and/or prior to all extended trips. Inspect interior following trips to ensure personal belongings of passengers are not left behind.
• Keep vehicle in proper working condition; complete preventive maintenance services, check and replenish gas, oil, and fluids, replace oil filters, spark plugs, change tires, windshield wipers; wash and clean exterior and interior of vehicles. Keep plant director informed of any mechanical problems.

• Experience driving a commercial bus and experience with the elderly preferred.
• Must drive in a safe and courteous manner.
• Prefer comprehensive knowledge of Columbus Metro area.
