Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections for company vehicles before departing on a delivery, ensuring vehicle is in good working condition.
• Contact the customer prior to loading the vehicle to confirm readiness and discuss details.
• Load plants and materials, securing load before departure.
• Review the delivery ticket to ensure all items are accounted for.
• Handle plants carefully during loading/unloading to avoid damage.
• Coordinate with the delivery dispatcher and manager on deliveries for the day and priority order.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Work in other nursery areas when no deliveries are scheduled.
