Job summary

New England Gypsum Floors: A Structis Company is hiring a CDL Driver / Floor Underlayment Installer for local projects in the Bridgeport area. This role combines driving with skilled labor on gypsum and concrete underlayment installations.

The position offers year-round work, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for advancement as you gain certifications and experience in diverse construction tasks.

Qualifications

• Required: Class A CDL and ability to operate basic hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations related to materials.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gypsum and concrete underlayment installation.
• Pickup/delivery of supplies as needed.
• Support crew with small tools and basic equipment repairs.
• Operate a bobcat to move materials and set up hose for pouring.
• Finish poured Gypcrete floors and manage bag materials on job sites.
