Job summary

Momentum Environmental Solutions, LLC in Buffalo, NY is seeking a CDL Driver/Equipment Operator to join field service crews. The Operator drives or operates vocational equipment at customer locations and often serves as site lead on crews.

You will support safety programs, operate hydro excavation and other equipment, coordinate with project managers, and help ensure schedules, budgets, and quality on environmental and waste service projects across the Upstate region.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with tanker endorsement; CDL A and HAZMAT endorsements are a plus.
• 1–2 years of CDL operating experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, and DOT regulations related to field services.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to travel to upstate New York for job-site support.

Responsibilities

• Plays an active role in safety planning and hazard communication.
• Safely drives and operates a wide variety of rolling stock and equipment.
• Provides field leadership and technical support on projects.
• Participates in emergency response engagements.
• Coordinates with Directors/PMs to ensure crews are prepared and aligned.
• Communicates with operations colleagues on technical and quality aspects and schedules.
• Supports labor, equipment, materials and waste processing functions across the service area.
• Maintains adherence to all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
