Job summary

Shakti Investments Inc is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Driver to join our FedEx Pickup & Delivery and Line Haul team in Newville, PA. The daytime role offers consistent hours and a focus on safety and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include operating commercial vehicles for P&D and line haul, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurate driver logs, timely delivery, and compliance with DOT regulations. Ideal candidates have a Class A CDL and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR.
• 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ELD systems and DOT compliance regulations.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional with excellent safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for FedEx pickup & delivery (P&D) and line haul routes during daytime hours.
• Safely load, unload, and transport freight in accordance with DOT and FedEx network standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs (ELD).
• Deliver and pick up packages along assigned routes in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal staff regarding route updates or delays.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled to prevent damage or loss.
